INCLUSIONS:

  • Two theoretical and pool sessions** using the Open Water Diver manual. All practices take place at the Margaritaville Cancun Hotel.
  • Four boat trips departing from the dock with a certified instructor for practical training and exercises.
  • Written exam to obtain certification.
  • Equipment provided: tank, buoyancy control device, weight belt, regulator, mask, and fins.
  • Boat features: captain, communication equipment, life jackets, ladder, and safety line.
  • Insurance coverage: medical expenses and liability insurance.

EXCLUSIONS:

  • Dock and Marine Park usage fee:** Passengers must pay $20 USD in cash upon registration.
  • Educational materials:** $100 USD.

OBSERVATIONS

During the pool session, the certified instructor will explain and practice the use of each equipment component. Participants will perform exercises focusing on buoyancy, breathing, and control to ensure their confidence and safety.

If the instructor determines that the participant is ready, the open-water dive will proceed.

  • Age requirements: Participants must be at least 10 years old, with a maximum age of 65.

  • Preparation time: A waiting period of 24 hours is required after the client's arrival at their hotel to avoid any risk of decompression issues.

INTINERARY

Approximate Duration: 3 Hours

  • Welcome.

  • Briefing: Instructions and safety measures for the dive.

  • Equipment delivery.

  • Two dives: Approximately 45 minutes each, descending to depths between 45 and 90 feet along the coral barrier reef.

  • Return

Schedule:

  • Operates any day of the week with prior reservation and a minimum of two (2) participants required to confirm the activity.
  • Single departure at 9:00 AM. (Estimated duration: 3 hours).

  • Dive: 45-minute dive with a maximum depth of 30 feet at the reef.

Schedule:

  • Operates any day of the week with prior reservation, at a single time of 9:00 AM.
  • The pool or beach practice session begins at 9:15 AM, and the open-water dive starts at 10:00 AM.

RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Ensure you are well-rested the day before, avoid staying up late, do not consume alcoholic beverages the day prior, and refrain from eating at least 2 hours before diving.
  • All sales require a reservation.
  • Reservations for 1 (one) diver are subject to a minimum of 2 participants to confirm the dive.
  • When making a reservation, request the client’s size for the buoyancy vest and fins.
