The SNORKEL REEF & CATAMARAN tour offers an incredible opportunity to explore the breathtaking beauty of "The Great Mayan Reef," the second-largest reef system in the world and the largest in the Western Hemisphere. Embark on a fun-filled journey aboard a comfortable and lively catamaran as you sail through the stunning turquoise waters of Petempich Bay in Puerto Morelos. This region is a marine wonderland, teeming with vibrant underwater life, including over 65 species of stony corals, 350 species of mollusks, and more than 500 species of fish.

As you sail, enjoy the refreshing sea breeze and spectacular views of the Caribbean coast. Along the way, you’ll make stops at prime snorkeling spots, where you’ll dive into crystal-clear waters to witness the vivid coral formations and the diverse marine creatures that call this reef home. From colorful schools of fish darting among the corals to unique underwater ecosystems, every moment beneath the surface is a new discovery.

Departure Point: Kay Club at Bahia Petempitch

INCLUSIONS:

  • Bilingual host and snorkeling guides** (English/Spanish)
  • Snorkeling at one reef location.
  • Full equipment: mask, life vest, fins, and a complimentary snorkel tube.
  • Light snack**: Chicken wings, ham and cheese sandwiches, potato wedges, seasonal fruit, veggie sticks, and dips.
  • National open bar on board the catamaran**: Juices, bottled water, soft drinks, vodka, rum, tequila, and draft beer

EXCLUSIONS:

  • Dock and marine park usage fee**: $20 USD (to be paid by the passenger upon registration).

  • This activity is operated exclusively for private groups, subject to availability and with prior reservation.
  • Minimum guarantee: 15 passengers.
  • Maximum capacity: 30 passengers.
  • Transportation is not included.

INTINERARY

Approximate duration: 4 hours

  • Welcome to Kay Club Beach Club and passenger registration.
  • Locker assignment.
  • Welcome courtesy: coffee, juice, and cookies.
  • Information meeting to provide tour instructions and safety measures for snorkeling and the catamaran.
  • Group guidance to board the shark-style boat.
  • Equipment delivery: Mask, snorkel, life vest, and fins.
  • Stop at one reef location (approximately 45 minutes in the water).
  • Sailing journey on the catamaran back, with a swim stop at a sandbar.
  • Light snack and national open bar on board the catamaran.

We operate from Monday to Sunday.
Two daily departures: 8:50 AM & 12:40 PM.
